(Romans 8:38-39) For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NKJV)
“nor any other created thing” … consider the depth of those words. God’s love is greater than your ability to conceive His awesomeness. God Loves. God is also bound to His own words, “He can not lie” (Hebrews 6:17-18) Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. (NKJV) It is “impossible for God to lie”. Consider (Hebrews 5:8-10) though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” (NKJV) He “Christ” became the “author of salvation” to all who “obey” Him. In Christ own words, (Mark 16:16) “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (NKJV)
